Time To Do Something Different?

“Texas ranks 50th out of 51 (including D.C.) in overall access to mental health care.”  Greg Hansch, NAMI (2021)

Part of creating healthy, thriving communities is having access to the care for the people that live there. People are made of mind, body, and spirit. So the best environment has access to things like hospitals, physicians, churches, schools, AND mental health care.

As seen in this 2021 statistic, Texas ranks 50th out of 51 states in access to care for mental health. The barriers to access are not just related to financial means. The system is hard and overwhelming to navigate. There are also limited resources to access.

Mosaics came together to do our part to change this statistic for our community. We have family navigators that help people find mental health resources that are a fit for their unique situation. We also advocate to fill the gaps we consistently see in what families in our community can’t find.

We can have all the resources in the world, but if you can’t access care because you don’t know how to navigate the system then there is an issue. And the fallout from that impacts all levels of our community from functioning at their highest capacity.

Do you want to see lower suicide rates?
Do you want to see healthy families?

Do you want to see the children in our community thrive?

Then reach out and see how you can partner with us to be part of something different.
