My most precious role is being the wife of Bruce for over 15 years and mother to two beautiful teenage daughters, Brooke and Lexi, a feisty lab named “Happy” and mischievous cat named “Bella”.
For over 25 years, I have been in business development primarily working within the healthcare sector. For the last five years, I have been working with Fortune 500 and mid-sized corporations to help keep their mobile workforce healthy, safe and secure whilst on global assignments. Part of this holistic, risk mitigation service includes helping people have peace of mind as well as emotional support when facing emergency situations.
Similarly, with Mosaics of Mercy, my role is to help people to access emotional assistance resources. Having had a solid background in the corporate realm, I am helping procure corporate grants from organizations that wish to meet their corporate social responsibility and sustainable development goals. I am also helping with fundraising initiatives within the community to spread awareness of mental well-being resources, and to help diminish the stigma associated with mental concerns. Having dealt with alcohol, addiction and mental illness challenges in my own family, I feel very strongly about helping others heal. My most precious involvement with Mosaics of Mercy is the making and giving of mosaic hearts, writing notes of encouragement and praying for others.
