Freedom From Means Freedom To

Yesterday I was helping two moms. One has a daughter who is struggling with a mental health issue and she said to me, “I see you, I see hope.” Then I had another mom reach out about a rare medical diagnosis that we have experienced in our family. She typed to me that she had tears running down her face as she read our story of hope. She hadn’t found anyone else that could shine light on their specific journey.

One of the biggest gifts of having freedom from is that you are given the freedom to extend a hand to others struggling. It is hard to see it in the midst of the battle. But I have not yet had a struggle wasted. The freedom from always eventually gives way for a freedom to extend a hand of hope to others.

Think today about what your freedom from gives you the freedom to. You are uniquely gifted to provide that hope to someone today!
